I purchased a reconditioned gearbox from the gearbox centre in Buckley (supply only)about four weeks ago! I found them to be competitively priced and the receptionist extremely efficient and helpful! The price I was quoted matched the best price on e bay, and I obviously went for the gearbox centre because I was concentrating on their ability to rectify any issues with the gearbox after it was fitted.I paid for a mechanic to fit the gearbox, but identified that there was a leak from one of the axle seals after a few weeks driving the van round.I contacted the gearbox centre, and without any fuss, they booked my van in the following day for inspection and repair. It turned out the seal had been broken when fitting the new gearbox, I could see the seal removed was broken but brand new.The boss there rectified the problem, replacing the seal and filling the gearbox back up with oil. He wouldnt accept any payment for the two hours labour and parts.I have no hesitation in recommending the gearbox centre! I have been totally bowled away by their professionalism, the way that they have dealt with me, and the competitive price I paid initially.I came away today with a big smile on my face, and I m so grateful for the boss doing this! Thank you so much...
The only place I would go to get an issue with a gearbox sorted. Top class outfit and very decent staff - easy to talk to and they explain what needs doing, how much it will cost and how long it will take.Many thanks guys
